Asset Management

Assets

From the left side navigation menu go to Assets tab to manage assets.

Add Asset

By clicking on the highlighted icon, add an asset.

Click on Add Asset. Enter the mandatory details like Asset Name, Serial Number, Asset Type, and Acquisition Date.

If the status Active or Spare is chosen; the Division, Zone and Depot dropdowns are enabled and the asset will need to be tagged to a depot. Proceed only after choosing all three options.

 

For any other status (Lost/Stolen, Repair, Inactive), the three dropdowns remain disabled and the asset will be tagged to the institution.

 

Once all the necessary details have been entered, use the Save button to add the asset to the existing list. Simply click Close to cancel this operation.

 

Edit/Update Asset

Update details of an asset by clicking on the highlighted icon.

 

Click Edit to update the details. Click Update to make these changes take effect. Click Close to abort this operation.

 
 

Selecting the proper entity is mandatory while inactivating any Asset.

 
 

Asset History

The highlighted section shows the Asset History. This list is automatically updated whenever a user changes the Status or adds comments to the asset.

The history section keeps track of the updates to the asset made by users.

 
 

All the tickets raised against the asset will be listed on clicking the ticket icon.

Ticket history will appear at the bottom on clicking the ticket ID.

Export

Use the highlighted Export button to download the .csv report of assets for further data analysis.
